Each year Great Blottereau Park hosts the “Folie des plantes” (Plant madness) festival. This plant festival is held on the first or second weekend in September and over 180 nurseries and business exhibit there.
The events vary according to the year's theme, but there’s always stalls selling fair trade products.
With 40,000 visitors per year Plantmadness is one of the largest events of its kind in France.
Exceptionally, due to the constraints linked to the application of sanitary measures, the format of this 33rd edition has been refocused on its primary objective: to offer visitors a plant market. Thus, while many exhibitors, growers-collectors and horticultural associations from all regions will be taking part in this event, there will be no theme or programme of events this year.
